The profession has “pivoted”, to use a pandemic word, to remote advocacy and continues to seek ways to do it as effectively as possible. This panel presentation offers practical guidance on what you need to do to prepare in advance and tips for when you’re in the virtual courtroom. This includes insights from the judge and one of the counsel who participated in the first virtual trial held by the Manitoba Court of Queen’s Bench, Family Division.
