Having recently retired from a 40 year career as a family lawyer, Marie Gordon, AOE, QC, looks back at the major developments in substantive family law: matrimonial property; equality and Charter values, federal child support guidelines and the spousal support remedy. With humour and candidness, Marie shares her experiences watching and participating in the efforts to reform the law. She acknowledges the many challenges currently facing family law lawyers and offers suggestions on how to remain resilient and increase enjoyment in your practice and life.
